How to grow Mini Tomato

The best time for planting is late winter or early spring, allowing time for the bush to establish before fruiting. A regular liquid fertiliser will promote healthy growth and ensure abundant yields. Use an organic fertiliser rich in phosphorus (to promote blossoms and fruit), nitrogen (for lush vegetative growth) and potassium (to prevent disease). Water every two to three days. Mini ‘Red Robin’ Tomato will thrive when grown near companion plants such as basil, oregano, parsley, carrots, celery, geraniums, marigolds and petunias.

Enjoying your Mini Tomato

Compact and charming, Nellie Kelly Red Robin is well suited to small spaces, and looks great in a pot on a patio or in the garden bed. It flowers in spring, and each bush will produce around 60 tomatoes between early summer and late autumn. There’s nothing like the smell of freshly picked tomatoes! Use them in salads, on pizza or make homemade passata for the freezer.
